GamblingBet.co.uk is a guide to casino sites licensed for players in Great Britain. A guide can be wrong, late or incomplete, and readers deserve to know where its limits sit before acting on it. This notice sets them out.

Scope

The notice covers every page on the site: casino listings and reviews, bonus pages, game and RTP explainers, player guides, the news section and older articles kept at their original addresses. It is issued by Lodestrait Media Limited, Ocean Spa Plaza, Ocean Village, Gibraltar GX11 1AA, which publishes GamblingBet.

We publish, we do not operate

Nobody can place a stake with GamblingBet, park money with us or open a gambling account through our pages. A reader who joins a casino after visiting us enters into a contract with that casino alone. The desk cannot see inside your account, has no say over verification or withdrawals and no power to reverse a decision a casino has made.

Great Britain only

Everything here is written for England, Scotland and Wales under the Gambling Act 2005. Northern Ireland has its own legislation, and other countries have theirs. Reading the site from abroad does not make a British licence relevant where you are, and pages are not adapted for any other market.

18 and over

British law sets the gambling age at 18, and licensed operators must verify age before a customer can deposit or play. The casino pages on this site are for adult readers. Anyone under 18 should leave them.

The register comes first

An operator appears here only while its licence shows on the Gambling Commission's public register. Between two of our checks a licence may be suspended, have conditions added or be given up altogether. The register itself, not our page, is the authority on whether a business may take bets from you today, and a search there takes less than a minute.

Offers move faster than pages

Welcome bonuses, free spins, wagering, eligible games, deposit methods and expiry dates belong to each operator, which may rewrite them overnight, sometimes the day after we record them. The binding version is the one shown on the operator's own British site when you opt in. Bonus rules tightened in 2026: the Commission now caps wagering on bonuses at ten times and bars offers that require play across different products, and an older page that quotes higher multiples describes a market that no longer exists. Read the operator's significant terms before claiming anything.

What thirteen checks can and cannot show

Each operator is assessed against the thirteen published points on how we check casinos, each point sourced from paperwork the casino puts on its own site. That reveals what a casino promises in writing. It cannot reveal how a particular complaint will be handled, how long your own verification will take or whether a game will pay. A strong position in a table describes the paperwork, not your outcome.

RTP and game figures

Return-to-player percentages, volatility labels and hit rates come from studio documentation and the game's own help screen. They are long-run averages over millions of rounds and say very little about a single session. Many slots are released in more than one RTP version; the operator chooses which to run, and only the in-game information shows the one you are playing.

Payments and withdrawals

Notes on deposit methods, limits and payout times reflect the operator's published cashier information at the time of checking. Credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain. Banks, e-wallets and the operator's own security reviews can add delays that no published table shows, and a first withdrawal often triggers extra checks. Winnings are not taxed for players in the UK, but your own circumstances are a matter for you or an adviser.

News and older articles

News items describe a story as it stood on the day of writing; follow-ups appear as new items rather than edits, so an early report can be overtaken by events. Some articles in the archive pre-date the current site and the 2026 rule changes; they stay online for reference and can contain figures that have since moved. A small number of articles were published under commercial arrangements with third parties; they sit outside the casino listings and are not part of the checks.

Commission

GamblingBet receives money from an operator once someone who clicked our link registers and deposits. Those payments keep the lights on, and the arrangement is described on how we earn. Payment does not move an operator up a table, and a casino that fails one of the checks stays off the tables regardless of the fee on offer.

Pages we link to

We link out to casinos, the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare, BeGambleAware, studios and news sources. Their content, their security and their handling of personal data are matters for them, not for us. A link is a reference, not a recommendation of everything on the page behind it.

Brand names

Casino brands, game titles, studio names and logos are registered or unregistered marks held by their proprietors. Their use on our pages is purely descriptive. None of those companies has approved this site's content by appearing in it.

Liability

A confirmed mistake is put right promptly and the change is noted, yet no guide of this size can guarantee flawless accuracy day after day, nor uninterrupted access to its pages. Subject to English law, Lodestrait Media Limited is not answerable for stakes lost at a casino, bonuses withheld, accounts closed or decisions made on information that was out of date. Liability that English law forbids a business to exclude is untouched, and so are your statutory consumer rights.

Staying in control

Treat gambling as paid entertainment with a budget fixed before you start, and walk away when it is spent rather than topping up. Chasing a loss is the clearest sign that a session has stopped being fun. Every licensed site must offer deposit limits, reality checks and time-outs. GAMSTOP blocks you from all of them at once for six months, a year or five years. When play starts to cost sleep, relationships or work as well as cash, the National Gambling Helpline, run by GamCare, is free on 0808 8020 133 at any hour, and BeGambleAware lists treatment services across the country. Our safer gambling page explains each tool.
