About Our Desk
GamblingBet is a British guide to online casinos that are allowed to accept players in Great Britain. We are publishers, not an operator: we take no bets, hold no player money and open no accounts.
Under the Gambling Act 2005 a company may only accept customers in Great Britain if it holds a licence from the Gambling Commission. The Commission keeps a public register of licensed operators that anyone can search, and that register is where every page on this site starts. If a brand is not in it, it does not appear here.
How We Earn
This site earns from commercial arrangements with licensed operators, and nothing else: there is no paywall, no paid membership and no advertising network. We say so openly because a guide that hides its funding is not a guide. The arrangement, from the reader's side, looks like this.
Where the links are. Casino tables, reviews and bonus pages carry buttons that pass through a gamblingbet.co.uk/go/ address on their way to the operator. Game explainers, player guides and safer gambling pages carry none. Following such a link makes our server drop a short-lived pair of cookies, mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN, gone in roughly 20 hours; they are listed in the privacy policy.
What the operator pays. If you open an account and make a deposit after following one of those links, the operator pays Lodestrait Media Limited, the company that publishes GamblingBet. Contracts vary: certain deals pay a flat sum per newly funded account, others hand over a slice of the casino's later takings from those players, some combine the two. Every operator we work with holds a Gambling Commission licence, and its marketing arrangements are covered by that licence.
What it costs you. Not a penny. You get the identical welcome deal, wagering and limits that a direct visit to the casino would show. If you ever find a worse deal through our link, tell us and we will take the link down.
What the payment does not buy. The order of a table and the verdict on a page come from the checks we publish on how we check casinos — licence in the register, an offer published on the operator's own British site, terms that match those pages, and the account tools a player needs. Operators that pay us and fail a check are left out; casinos with no deal with us still appear once they clear every check, simply without a /go/ button.
When things change. If a partner cuts its offer, breaks its own terms, slows withdrawals or leaves the register, its page is revised and it drops or disappears, whatever the commercial agreement says. Operators may point out a factual error in a review; they do not see reviews in advance and cannot ask for a better score.
Other paid content. A small number of older news articles were placed by third parties under commercial terms. They are not reviews, they are not ranked and they sit outside the checks.
